Following Kogi United’s 2-0 victory over Sokoto United on Wednesday in the Nigeria National League Matchday Three in Lokoja, defenders in the league have been alerted on the attacking threats posed by Kogi United strikers.

Adeshina described Ebenezer as a player that will go places in his football career. In his words, he said “Ebenezer is a player with physical strength and fighting spirit. So, most of my markings were always on him.”
He further confessed that one of the goal scorers, Aminu Abdulkadir is another player that could decide the faith of a game. He said, “Aminu is also dangerous because his eyes are always on goal, and as a defender you must always be at your feet to mark him. But out of the two, I think Ebenezer is more of a trouble to the defense.”
Adeshina further talked about the new Kogi United team under Coach Fatai Osho, “I think they have a very good team, and could pick one of the Premier tickets if they do their home work well”
