Kogi United first choice goalkeeper, Innocent Onuoha Ndem has finalized his move to another top Nigeria National League side, Plateau United for the 2014/2015 season.
Ndem who has been with the Confluence State team for five years has shifted camp to the Jos based side who will offer him another fresh challenge in his goalkeeping career.
While expressing joy over the move, Ndem noted that it will give him the opportunity to test his ability and to develop as a goal tender just as he confirmed his readiness to be the among the best keepers in the team.
“I’m excited about this move, I’m really happy and I give God all the glory, it’s going to be a fresh challenge and experience for me which will also help me to develop as a keeper,” the fair skinned goal minder told SL10.
“I thank the management of Kogi United for allowing me to make this move, I will always cherish my time in Lokoja, the players and officials are like a family which is what I will miss most.”
“Plateau United is one of the best clubs in the country, they play good football and the welfare of the players is special. I believe the togetherness is the same here with the little I saw when I played against them last season.”
“I’m looking forward to bringing my experience to bear to achieve success at the end with the team,” the graduate of Business Administration from Abia State University added.
