Kogi to Monitor Budget Performance

The Kogi State Government said it will soon embark on periodic performance assessment of its annual budget. The Commissioner, Ministry of Budget and Planning, Chief Ali Ajuh, said this in Lokoja, yesterday.

The commissioner said his ministry will conduct periodic budget performance appraisal aimed at ensuring that government’s development plan was met, adding that the 2014 budget is currently enjoying implementation as planned.

“As an insider, who has contributed to the preparation of this year’s budget and having followed it to an extent, I want to tell you that the budget for this year is being pursued diligently.
