Civil Servants in Kogi State have taken their destinies into their own hands as they organised a spiritual intervention program in order to seek an end to their present predicament.
The affected teachers in the state, numbering over five thousand according to reports organised a serious fasting and prayer program over their long standing unpaid salaries predicament.
Investigations revealed that the said teachers got their appointment letters from State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB, in May 2010 but are yet to be paid salaries for almost a year and some months.
The teachers gathered early hours of today in church, bombarded the throne of Almighty God with their appointment letters and promotion letters raised up to seek spiritual intervention.
