Kogi State FA To Partner With SM/LB

The Kogi State Football Association has received agreement to partner with the management of SM/LB on a potential four years contract in respect to the improvement of grassroots football undertaking the quantity of talent potentials abandoned at various parts of the state and open for renewal.

Present to witnessed the grand-breaking ceremony at the Kogi State Ministry of Sports Headquarters, Lokoja was the Director of Sports Development representing the Permanent Secretary Kogi State Youth and Sports who doubles as the Acting Commissioner of Sports, Paul Onuh; the Kogi State Football Association, Chairman, Adama Yahaya alongside the Assistant General Secretary, Comfort Somidire, Marketing Manager, Shina Akande; also on sit were the Representative of the consults (SM/LB) are Austin Aruna and Austin Etemagboh (a former Nigeria’s Eaglet player).

Revealing the existing details of the meeting held in Lokoja, the Kogi State Football Administration’s Marketing Manager, Shina Akande disclosed to Samuel Ahmadu, “it has been in the development plans of the State FA to secure lucrative partnership that will help in improving our grassroots football and am delighted with the immediate development- the meeting was to bring all the stakeholders in Kogi State football in the known on what was about to hatch itself in Kogi State.”

“When hatched, it will be an improve situation over teams affiliated with the State FA, much like helping the team survive independently- at moment details of the partnership are yet to be made public but I can confidently intimate you that discussions are in pupa stage with full details to be let out of the bag in sooner than later,” said the KABU FC coach whose team claimed the 2012 Kogi State Federation Cup to become the first non-league side to win the competition.
