Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Matthew Kolawole has condoled the family of a former Commissioner for Finance, Chief Joseph Noah Molemodile who died on Thursday in his Jos, Plateau State residence.
In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Femi Olugbemi, the Speaker stated that the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will sorely miss Molemodile who was the the party’s pioneer Legal Adviser.
He said he received the news of Molemodile’s death with grief, stressing that it is sad to have lost such an outstanding performer at this critical time in the State.
The Speaker said it is shocking and sad to lose such an outstanding personality whose giant contributions to the overall development of the state when he had the opportunity to serve cannot be over emphasized.
He described Chief Joseph Noah Molemodile as a thorough financial expert that brought his experience to bear as one time Managing Director of Kogi Savings and Loan company and later appointed as Commissioner for Finance.
The Speaker, on behalf of the Kogi State House of Assembly, commiserates with the immediate family of late J. N. Molemodile, Idofin community, Yagba land, Okun nation and Kogi State over the demise of late Joseph Noah Molemodile
