The member representing Ankpa-Omala-Olamabaoro Federal constituency, Hon. Hassan Omale has assured the people of Oji-Aji that the age-long challenge of assessing their homes during rainy season is over.
Omale gave the assurance when he commissioned the bridge he built for the people of Oji-aji on Saturday.
Oji-Aji community leaders commended Omale for making their dream a reality. They said the bridge had been budgeted for so many times but never done.
Construction works on the bridge was flagged-off three months ago and was executed within stipulated time.
After the commissioning, the Federal lawmaker visited communities ravaged by communal clashes in Omala local government. He condoled with the people over loss of lives and properties in the unfortunate clashes.
After a brief interaction with the royal father, Ojogba Ife, Omale donated relief materials to the community through the Ife Community Development Union, a body authorised by the royal father to collect and distribute donated items from well meaning Nigerians to the victims of the unfortunate clash.
The royal father commended Hon Hassan Omale for being with the people of his domain through “thick and thin”
“You have my blessings today and for as long as you live. I am proud of you,” he told Omale.
From the Palace, the legislator moved to Agbenema, one of the communities that was affected by the communal clashes. In Agbenema, he met with the people after an extensive assessment of destruction done to them by the invaders.
The Legislator promised that their grudges will be conveyed to the appropriate authority.  He advised them to be their brothers keeper and never take law in to their hands as it is a greater crime.
