The Peoples Democratic Party in Kogi State says it is on the verge of winning all its election in the state convincingly in the February election.
Capt Idris Wada, Kogi State Governor gave the assurance at the commissioning of the President Goodluck Jonathan campaign organization in Lokoja.
The Governor scored the Jonathan’s administration high having done well in all sectors, described insecurity as a global issue that would be won through collective efforts.
The Governor described the president as one that has gained a lot of experience on the job, said the tortuous job of administering the country should not be left in the hands of new persons who are coming to learn on the rudiments of democracy while on the job.
Capt Wada described President Jonathan and the PDP as a party on the verge of winning the February general election, urged the people not to be deceived by the campaign lies of opposition political parties, as they are not on the ground politically.
Capt Wada appealed to electorates in the state to appraise the issues of development for which the President Jonathan administration has achieved, acknowledging that the president has shown that he has the capacity to fix the nation’s problem if given another chance.
In a welcome remarks, Prince Olushola Akanmode, Deputy Director General, President Jonathan campaign organization in the state, called for hard work on the part of members of the PDP disclosing that the task to deliver all PDP candidates in the forth coming general election is achievable.
Akanmode said the party has the capacity to deliver in the February election, urged them to avoid rumour and not to be intimidated by the noise making of the opposition politicians.
He appealed to the party members to go into the election with optimism and to have a winning attitude, disclosing that the party remains a party to beat in the forth coming election.
