Jonathan is the Change Nigeria Needs, Wada Insist

The Kogi State Governor, Capt Idris Wada has said that no change could be better than the rapid change in all sectors which Nigeria has undergone in the last four years under the President Goodluck Jonathan administration. Capt Wada declared that the continuity of  President Goodluck Jonathan is the real change the nation needs, and solicited Nigerian’s resolve to vote the PDP in the forth coming general election.

Speaking at the flag off campaign for the PDP for the 2015 general election in Mungu, in Mungu LGA, Plateau State, Capt Wada who was represented at the occasion by his Deputy, Yomi Awoniyi, in a goodwill message, disclosed that no administration in the history of Nigeria has turned in high flying, all sector delivery in its first four years as President  Jonathan, saying that change has since begun under the present administration.

Capt Wada called on Nigerian’s especially the people of Plateau State to turn out en mass and vote the PDP in the forth coming general election at all levels, as the PDP remains the platform that can meet the yearning and aspiration of Nigerian’s.

Wada maintained that the people of the North Central States of Nigeria are determined to maintain the PDP dominance the area is noted for urged them not to be deceived by the antics of the opposition politicians who have noting to offer.

The Governor commended the progressive reign of Gov Jonah Jang in Plateau State, said the achievements he achieved is another eloquent testimony that the forth coming election would be won in the state based on records of achievements.

Earlier in his address, Gov Jonah Jang, said the party is resolute in maintaining its people’s oriented leadership in the state, assured that the incoming PDP leadership at all levels is determined to build on the solid foundation laid.

Wada further urged that the mark of true leadership is the ability  to stay the course notwithstanding the level of distractions  orchestrated to make the leader lose focus, saying that President Jonathan has beaten every adversity to achieve an unprecedented  transformation of Nigeria.

In his remarks, Sen David Mark, President of the Senate and Chairman of the flag off, described President Goodluck Jonathan as best change that has happened to Nigeria.

Sen Mark commended his delivery in both fundamentals and incidentals of democracy, and said the basic and true test of President Jonathan’s leadership lies in the level of freedom available to the citizenry, in  the separation of powers and in the value attached to the expressed  wishes of the people in timely polls.

The change he added lies in the change of values and attitudes towards  decades-long corruption as occasioned by the firm stand of President  Jonathan on zero tolerance and in establishing the Freedom of information law which he added have made Nigerians discuss freely and expose corruption while government battle the ill within the ambit of the law.

Sen Mark urged the people of Plateau to remain resolute in their resolve to deliver PDP in all the forth coming general election slated for February.

Highlights of the flag off ceremony was the presentation goodwill messages by Governors of Nasarawa,Benue, Niger States as well as presentation of flags to candidates of the PDP for the 2015 general elections from Plateau State.
