The local organising committee for the much anticipated Nigeria Media Merit Awards (NMMA) has released details for the 4-day programme.
According to the LOC Coordinator, Dr. Ronke Bello, the program as approved by the Administrators of the media award would commence with the arrival of the NMMA Trustees and Chief Administrator on Thursday 28th October 2021.
With the theme “Engaging Kogi State Today for Tomorrow”, other events on that day include a meeting between the advance team and the Local Organising Committee; visit to major sites of the grand event formal declaration of readiness with a world press conference as well as a meeting between the host Governor and the Board of Trustees.
On Friday, 29th, arrival of delegates and distinguished guests; a special multimedia presentation on Governor Yahaya Bello administration as well as media heroes night of tributes.
On Saturday 30th, a media tour to locations in the three Senatorial districts of the State for an on the spot assessment of the legacy projects of the state government.
On the same day, Governor Bello would host media leaders to a roundtable forum with the theme “The media and the challenges of nation building in Nigeria today”.
Later in the day, the grand award presentation ceremony would take place, while a farewell activities has been scheduled for Sunday 31st between the host Governor and the delegates before departure.
