Kogi NMA Visits, Condole FCT Minister Over Mother’s Demise

  • Says FCT Minister is the Greatest Legacy Her Mother Left Behind

The Chairman of Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) Kogi State chapter, Dr Baoku Olusola had sympathized with the Minister of State for Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu over the death of her mother, Hajiya Zainab Sidi Ali, who died on Tuesday after a brief illness.

Dr. Baoku, while speaking to newsmen after he led the Executives of the association on a condolence visit at her residence in Abuja, said the loss of a mother is an irreparable and irreplaceable one and painful.

He urged the Minister to take solace in the fact that her mother lived a good life and left legacies worthy of emulation.

According to him, the deceased gave birth to illustrious children particularly the FCT Minister of State, who has used her office to contribute to nations building.

“Our hearts and that of the people of Kogi State are with you at this present moment of grief. We sympathise with you and we want you to know that you are the greatest legacy mama has left behind and that legacy will live on till the end of time and beyond,” he said.

Dr. Baoku added that her demise has created a vacuum too difficult to fill and prayed God to console the family and the strength to bear the loss. 

He also charged the family to emulate the virtue of their Late Mother and prayed Allah to grant Hajiya Zainab Sidi Ali Al jannah firdaus.
