The Kogi State Chairman, Nigeria Labour Congress,(NLC), Comrade Onuh Edoka has lost his elder brother, Festus Ogwu Edoka (KSM).
Edoka, while giving details of his elder brother’s exit, said Festus Ogwu Edoka died on 18th July 2022 aged 54.
The obituary announcement, as released by the bereaved NLC boss, said: “the family of Edoka Amana of Imane in Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State with heavy hearts but in gratitude to God almighty wishes to announce the sudden death of our son, brother and father, Bro Festus Ogwu Edoka who slept in the Lord on 18th July, 2022.
“Burial arrangement are as follows: Body leaves General Hospital Mortuary Ankpa at 4PM for Vigil Mass at St Charles Chaplaincy Ankpa, Kogi State on 28th July, 2022.There will an all night wake keep at his residence at Nos 313, Jerusalem estate, opposite living hope hospital Ankpa.
“Funeral mass will be at St Charles Chaplaincy, Ankpa, Kogi State at 10am on 29th July 2022 while interment will follow at Edoka Amana’s compound at Barrack Imane, in Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State.”
Comrade Edoka described the deceased a dedicated man who has the fear of God and has contributed immensely towards the development of Nigeria and beyond.
“Late Bro Festus Ogwu Edoka (KSM) is an outstanding man who lived a fulfilled live while on earth. He was so committed, humble, prayerful and above all a father to the entire family. We will miss his fatherly role in the family and his words of encouragement towards making Edoka family move forward. Keep resting our dear Brother, we know you are in the vine yard of our lord,” he said.
