Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a former governorship aspirant under the platform of defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) in Kogi State, Barrister James Ocholi SAN, has said that the state needs real change to develop.
In a statement in Abuja yesterday, he said a wind of change is blowing in all the length and breadth of the country for which there is a need to translate it into reality in the state.
He however admitted that the kind of change necessary for the state could only be achieved if political leaders put aside their personal and selfish ambition in order to allow the state grow.
“It’s unfortunate that up till now, some politicians and sons of the state who think they are the only ones that have the blueprint of development are still craving to impose their influence on the people contrary to the spirit of change,” Ocholi said.
