As part of efforts to encourage workers to discharge their duties diligently, Kogi State Judiciary has rewarded 27 staff for outstanding performances, hard work and efficient service delivery.
The Kogi State Chief Judge, Justice Nasiru Ajanah, who disclosed this while speaking at the 1st Kogi State Chief Judge’s Annual Merit award, 2014, held at the High Court Complex on Tuesday in Lokoja, stated that this was aimed at sustaining a functional, viable corrupt free and proud judiciary.
Justice Ajanah explained that few staff who found it difficult to appreciate this philosophy have shown the way out from the inception of the current administration, adding that he had always be yearning to fashion out a policy that will acknowledge and appreciate the staff that saw direction and were in sync with same.
“That is why I am elated that this event is holding. We shall make this an annual event and subsequently, with the anticipated improvement in the resources available to the organization we will make our gift tangible and more appreciable which we hope will serve as impetus for other staff to strive to attain their optimal in service delivery, “the CJ stressed.
