The kidnappers that abducted the  Kogi State High Court Judge, Justice Samuel Obayomi, has demanded N150m before they will free the judge.

Obayomi of Ebogogo High Court in Adavi Local Government Area of the state was kidnapped at gunpoint on Monday morning on his way to his office in Ebogogo area.

His orderly, Mr. Usman Musa, was shot dead in the encounter.

A source, who pleaded anonymity, told journalists in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital, on Wednesday that the kidnappers contacted the victim’s family on Wednesday afternoon  and demanded the N150m.

They were said to have  promised to call  back the family after a few hours.

Efforts to confirm the development from the police proved abortive as the state command’s Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Collins Adebayo, did not pick his calls.
