The Kogi State Election petition tribunal sitting in Abuja has granted the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Engr Musa Wada’s request to inspect election materials used for the 16 November 2019 governorship election.
The Tribunals directive followed the prayer of Wada asking for the material to be inspected.
The inspection of materials would begin today with Okene LGA where the incumbent governor garnered a debatable 112,000 votes.
The PDP candidate had challenged the outcome of the election, pointing out that the election was marred by irregularities, and outright writing of result.
The inspection of materials is to hold at the headquarters of the electoral body in the presence of the counsels and party agents.
