Kogi political group, Kogi Project Initiative for New Direction (K-PIND) has vowed to embark on a door to door campaign for the victory of Governor Yahaya Bello come November 16, 2019.
The group patron who doubles as the commissioner of Health, Dr. Saka Haruna and its Chairman, Hon. Suleiman Siraj made this known while unveiling their programme of action in Government House Lokoja on Saturday.
The commissioner of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Engr. Abubakar Ohere who was also briefed on the activities of the group said he was pleased with the group formation which cut across the twenty one Local government Areas of the state.
Engr. Ohere charged the group to continue to showcase the achievements of Governor Bello to the electorate at the grassroots noting that the governor has done so much for the people.
Earlier the Chairman of the group, Hon. Suleiman Siraj and Coordinator, Comrade Abdullahi Faruk declared that the group has local government and ward coordinators across the twenty one local government areas of the state.
They further stated that they have started mobilizing election canvassers in polling units for the victory of Governor Bello in the November election.
They averred that the joint ticket of Governor Bello and his running mate, Chief Edward Onoja is a divine mandate for victory. They also applauded Chief Onoja for his deep grassroots political mobilization across the state maintaining that victory is very sure for APC in the November polls.
Expatiating on the activities of the group the Secretary of the group, Emmanuel Jasa Gwatana and Director of Media, Idris Itopa said the group would continue to work day and night to ensure Governor Bello’s victory in the November election.
They called on Kogi electorate to vote en masse for Governor Bello’s second term in office to ensure continuity and consolidation of the APC programme in the state.
