Kogi Govt Signs MoU With NEXIM Bank for Development of Export Related Industries

Kogi state government has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Nigeria Export-Import (NEXIM) Bank for the development of export related industries.

The MoU was signed at NEXIM Bank Head Office in Abuja on Monday.

The Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Dr Ayoade Folashade Arike, said the MoU between marks a significant milestone for the transformation of the state economy in the years to come.

Dr. Ayoade, who led the Kogi State team in company of top government officials, added that the MoU covers export related industries such as shea butter processing factory and other agro-allied industries.

Some of the officials of the government in attendance are the Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Hon. Mukadam Asiru Asiwaju Idris; Kogi State Auditor General, Alh Yakubu Yusuf Okala; Chief Economic Adviser to the Governor/ MD-CEO of Kogi State Investment Promotion Agency, Hon Nda Aliyu Salami, and Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth Empowerment Hon Abdulkareem Onyekehi Suleiman.
