Kogi Govt Orders Closure of Schools for General Elections

Kogi State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has approved the closing down of public and private schools in the state for the general elections.

In a statement signed by Mathew Salami, for the Commissioner, the general elections break takes effect from Wednesday, 22nd February, 2023.

According to the statement, schools are to resume on Monday, 13th March, 2023.

However, management and teachers of schools are not affected by the directive.
