  • Promises to deliver for Dino in the forthcoming November election

A group, Kogi Youth Advocates, has commended the governorship candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Dino Melaye for his promise to review the cases of civil servants that were unjustly sacked in the state.

In a statement signed by the public relations officer, Adinoyi Ojo, the group said “Many of our people have been living in hardship since the Yahaya Bello led APC government sacked many of the workers across Kogi State for no justifiable reason. This is aside the percentage and meager salaries his government is paying the state workers to make things totally worse economically for the common man in the State.

“We are glad that finally we have a governorship candidate who wants to look into the issue of the sacked workers.

“Senator Dino Melaye is a man of his words. He is a politician whose good works are there in the prints of time and in records. If he says he will do anything, he will do it, humanly-speaking, so we believe him and we have so taken him for his words.”

Adinoyi promised that the group will mobilise across every community in Kogi State to deliver massive votes for Senator Dino Melaye in the forthcoming Kogi State governorship election.

“We have the capacity and we have our structures across the various wards in each senatorial district of Kogi State and we are talking to them. The consensus is to vote for Senator Dino Melaye so that he will come and help us restore the lost glory of Kogi State and return the fortunes of State workers which APC has stolen and destroyed in the past seven years of being in power in the State,” the group further said.
