Kogi Gov’ship: Okene Council Chairman Hosts Diaspora Support Group For Ododo/Joel Mandate

The Chairman of Okene Local Government, Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad on Saturday hosted a group of medical professionals under the umbrella “Coalition of Kogites in Diaspora”.

The group were in Okene for a free medical outreach as part of the organization line up activities to mobilized grassroots support for Alh. Usman Ahmed Ododo, the governorship candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The medical outreach which is sponsored by Alh. AbdulFatai Usman, the Convener of AFU Grassroots Development Movement and Foreign Coordinator of Coalition of Kogites in Diaspora 4 Ododo 2023 is expected to attend to attend to various medical need of the people.

The Chairman commended the medical professionals for initiating such a laudable program to bring healthcare services to the doorstep of the poor and also use same to garner support for the Ododo/Joel mandate. 

He informed the visiting professionals that Okene local government is completely locked down for the APC candidate and just as the record of our previous electoral victories speak volumes, made impact and stand out, I assure you the people are ready to do more come November 2023 elect Alh. Usman Ahmed Ododo as the next governor of Kogi State.

The Chairman thanked them for the initiative and wished them success in their program. He assured them of peaceful stay in Okene.
