The Chairman, Local Government Service Commission, Hon. Adams Adabenege on Sunday met with a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Haruna Ganaja in Lokoja.
The meeting, according to Adabenege, was to rub minds and exchange ideas with the chieftain geared towards mobilizing more support for the APC governorship candidate in Kogi State.
The commission chairman noted that the candidate of the APC, Alhaji Usman Ododo and his running mate, Joel Salifu are running on a “unity ticket” which seeks to consolidate on the unification and developmental policies of Governor Yahaya Bello, hence the need for all stakeholders to close ranks and ensure victory at the poll.
He said Hon. Haruna Ganaja is a respected leader who commands great followership and his adoption of Ododo as his preferred candidate is a huge plus towards victory.
On his part, Hon. Haruna Ganaja who joined the APC recently, commended Hon. Adabenege for his commitment to the Ododo mandate. He said the unity and development of the state is more important than any parochial sentiment, stressing that together, they will work to ensure massive victory for the APC candidate in the November 16 governorship election.
