Publisher of AljazirahNigeria Newspapers, Comrade Bassey Etuk Williams has been allegedly attacked by men identified as security aides to the Governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello.

The ugly incident which allegedly happened at about 7.30pm on Friday night took place in Abuja without Williams provoking the governor’s aides.

An eyewitness who pleaded anonymity while speaking about the occurrence said governor Bello and his men blocked Williams from accessing his residence at No. 12, Benghazzi Street, Wuse zone 4 in Abuja, with their cars.

Governor Bello’s security aides allegedly attacked Williams as soon as he questioned why an innocent citizen should be denied access to his residence.
