More than 3, 000.00 people are still trapped in Odeke, Echenyo, Ubale, Unale and many other communities in Ibaji land.
Ibaji LGA is the worst hit by the ravaging flood.
Several residents have been evacuated to Idah already and efforts are been made by the State and Local governments to evacuate trapped persons in this troubled areas.
Trapped residents who were not lucky to be evacuated on time are living in terrible condition in several communities across the local government area.
The liaison officer of Ibaji local government, David Ogwu, said the council had to hire speed boats to evacuate residents who are trapped at different locations to camps in Idah Local Government Area.
