Kogi-based Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Thompson Makolo Jnr, has appealed to kindhearted individuals to help 18-year old accident victim, Atuvonoh Onimisi Abdulbasit, defray his one hundred and fifty thousand Naira hospital bills.
Abdulbasit, who hails from Adavi local government area of Kogi state, was involved in an accident with a trailer around November 2017, He has since been discharged but can not leave the hospital because of N150, 000 unpaid medical bills.
Speaking with newsmen in Lokoja on Monday, Thompson Makolo called on privileged individuals and Kogi state government to come to the aid of the poor boy and his widowed mother.
The filmmaker stated that life has been tough for the young boy and help is not coming their way.
He appealed to political office holders from Kogi Central to help Abdulbasit defray the hospital bills so he can return home.
Thompson described the continued stay of Abdulbasit as touching and pathetic.
