Distinguished Senator Sunday Steve Karimi DSSK’s appreciation letter reflects the character of a true statesman. No bitterness toward those who contested against him. No score-settling after the storms of recent weeks. Only gratitude to God, respect for the party, and an extended hand of brotherhood to every aspirant who stood in that race, including those whose names became entangled in the controversies that tested this entire process.

This victory did not happen by accident. It is the harvest of three years of accessible, consistent, and people-centred representation. From the solar powered boreholes that brought clean water to long-neglected communities, to the bursaries that have empowered thousands of students across Kogi West, Kogi Central, and Kogi East, to the Forward Operating Base he sponsored in Egbe to protect lives along one of Nigeria’s most vulnerable border corridors, Distinguished Senator Sunday Karimi has consistently shown that representation is not a title. It is a daily responsibility.
Kogi Equity Alliance salutes the resilience, dignity, and statesmanship he has shown throughout this season. He faced a coordinated storm with grace and emerged not just victorious, but with his integrity fully intact.
