Supreme Court today warned lawyers and desperate politicians against seeking for power through extra-judicial process.
The apex court judges handed down this statement while dismissing the motion brought before it by Air Marshal Isaac Alfa to set aside part of the judgment delivered by the Supreme court.
The court awarded N500,000 in favour of the defendant, Senator Atai Aidoko Ali
The Supreme Court stated that while studying the motion to set aside part of the judgement, they have pondered and perused through the judgment delivered in June and said there was nothing wrong with the judgment.
The Apex court warned counsels not to test the capability of the court to sanction lawyers and their clients in the events such frivolous and unwarranted motions meant to abuse and denigrate the highest court of the land find its way again.
