The candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for Kogi East Senatorial district, Dr. Jibrin Isah Echocho has emerged winner of an all-inclusive online poll.
Echocho polled 177 votes to defeat his closest rival, Dr. Victor Alewo Adoji of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The poll which was organized by Robert Arome Eboh, a staunch and online supporter of Dr. Adoji.
Adoji of the ADC garnered 135 votes, Attai Aidoko of the PDP polled 4 votes while Abdulrahman Railway of SDP and Comrade Amade Edime of APDA polled 2 votes and 1 vote respectively.
However, to the consternation of the readers, Victor Adoji was declared winner by the organizer of the poll.
While we want to be believe it was a typographical error, we are calling on the organizer to do the correction and declare the true winner of the poll.
