The Kogi East Zonal Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon Ahmed Attah escaped death by the whiskers as several heavily armed men invaded his Anyigba home on Monday evening.
Our reporter exclusively gathered that but for the intervention of his police guard and few youths in the area, the youthful political figure would have been harmed or killed.
Our correspondent was informed by a witness that residents in the neighborhood quickly shut their doors on hearing gun shots as others took to their heels fearing the worst.
Nothing has been heard from Hon Attah himself at the time of filing this report.
