It is with passion and high sense of patriotism  that I communicate this letter to you. The job of meeting each and everyone of you is tedious hence my employment of this medium.  I hope this message come to you in sound mind.
Igala-Bassa nation, our district, has had it rough over the years in leadership but today, posterity present you with yet another opportunity to make or mar us.
Today, your actions or inactions has the replicating abilities of either plunging our district into another years of waste and misrepresentation or propel it to qualitative representation, economic advancement and human capital development. You were all (s)elected not because you are the only one from your various wards but because it is the will of God for you to be selected, I hope you use that will well to the glory of God Almighty.
As you march towards the ballot boxes, think of the deplorable and non-existent federal government presence in our district. Think of the poor representation or no representation at all at the National Assembly.
My fellow compatriots, before you make a new or another mistake ask yourself this question, “am I proud of my current representative?”. If you are not, then change must come through an aspirant you can be proud of.
I present to you Alh. Jibrin Isah Echocho, the building block of our collective future. The noble pride of a free Igala-Bassa land. Ray of hope of the masses of Kogi easterners. A glaring hope on the horizon. Endeared to the hearts of the entire masses of Kogi State. Always thinking about the future of our people. A mercy to mankind. An embodiment of humility. A care heart agenda for Kogi East. A victory for Echocho today is a victory for democracy and rule of law…”
This is one out of the many encomiums rained on the people’s candidate. Dear delegates our future and even yours lies in your hand, toy with it and it boomeranged back on us all. We are equal stakeholders in the Igala-Bassa nation, that is why their inducement to get you to sell your votes for them shouldn’t move you. Delivering Jibrin Isah Echocho is a duty we owe posterity” for this posterity shall be either kind or unkind to you for your actions today.
According to Joseph Stalin, “it is good enough that the people know there was an election. The people who cast the votes decides nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything”.
The fate of the entire Kogi Easterners lies on the meticulous and scrupulous disposition of the APC primaries committee, I am confident, the will of the people will prevail at the end of the day.
Together for positive improvement.
TOGETHER WITH ECHOCHO.
