Now that 2019 is around the corner, it is obvious that shades of personalities will line up under our multiple political parties/system to nominate and renominate their representatives to vie for elective positions both at the state and national level, as well as all facets of our political development.
So, it will inexplicable to derive political power in isolation from platform and personality. It is unreasonable to divorce these two synonymous words in the quest of representation of our people as one comes before the other
Agreed or not, personality will feature prominently in this contest towards the 2019 general elections, though the choice of everybody matters but even in animal kingdom, some animals are more equal than the other.
Except political consideration and concession have accommodated all shades of opinion to galvanize peoples support and arrive at a resolve mandate in our case, even at that, it can’t be divorced.
In Kogi East, a lot of traits and personality will come to play in the cause of politicking towards electioneering campaign in the next elections by 2019.
On our own part, Kogi East senator, Atai Aidoko Ali has carved a niche for himself on the record list of people that will count bountifully in his favour in the next election.
This traits is a natural phenomenon and not out of vainglorious tendencies to muzzle other personalities on the roll call of the party, PDP.
It is on record that if personality comes into play in Kogi East polity this time around, Aidoko stands shoulder high as a two term senator and former member of Federal House of Representatives. It is not out of place to carve a niche of ‘personality’ on him in all ramifications.
This personality traits boils down to over one decade experience at the lower house as well as the upper house that ordinarily in an informed society like ours, this feat is enough corollary to return him back to the Senate and coincidentally under the main and popular opposition party, the PDP.
In either ways, it takes two to tango. You may have personality without good platform, which is unlike Senator Atai Aidoko Ali. The two goes pari pasu to pave way into achieving popular political power that the current senator had possessed.
Another dimension to it is that personality does not accommodate greed, non contentment, selfishness, self centeredness and above all, pride, but the bane of making it realisable must be in a focused, level headed, down to earth and above all, high level humility and candour that for now is in possession of Kogi East senator, Atai Aidoko Ali.
In addition to these traits and applicable to public office, a personality that portrays an incontrovertible acts and above all experienced along with the wherewithal, to manage and accommodate human nature applied to political position will only be tenable in Kogi East senator, Atai Aidoko Ali, with all others scampering and trailing behind him.
Kogi East senator desire to be supported by all and sundry in the race towards not only winning the Kogi East senatorial seat, under PDP, but liberating the people from sudden under development, acute poverty and not only that, to put a halt to a grand plan to sell out the Igala/Bassa race to these group of selfish individuals, who have constituted themselves into deploying all gimmicks to corner the masses into permanent political cocoon devoid of advancement.
Therefore, let us form a formidable force within the personalities and parties in kogi east to ensure the re-election of Senator Atai Aidoko Ali of PDP in 2019, putting aside all differences in opinion, race, religion, associations and other unforeseen circumstances in the overall interest of our people.
