Couples have been advised to love and tolerate one another for a long lasting marriage.
Kogi state Deputy Governor, Elder Simon Achuba gave the advise during the wedding reception of the commissioner for transport, Mallam Salisu Sani Ogwu at Idah.
Elder Achuba said without love and tolerance, there can not be a good marriage, urging the couple to sustain the first love that brought them together.
The deputy governor encouraged youth to always choose their partners and get married at their youthful age maintaining that there is joy in bringing up children at youthful age.
He said that marriage is ordained by God, stating that it is Godly for two to come together as one.
Dignitaries from far and near attended the occasion which had in attendance, the deputy chief of staff in the office of the deputy governor, Alhaji Isa Amade, the commissioner for environment Mrs Rosemary Osikoya, the commissioner for youth and sports, Aromeh Adoji, the special adviser to the governor on projects monitoring, Usman Ochidi, Akor Sylvester, commissioner for women affairs among others.
