Kogi CISCANEN Congratulates Gov. Bello, Onoja, Seeks More Synergy With NGOs

The Civil Society for Cancer Eradication in Nigeria (CISCANEN), Kogi State chapter, has facilitated with the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello and his deputy, Chief Edward David Onoja, for their second term in office.

A statement by the Media Adviser and Public Relation Officer (PRO) of CISCANEN, Mr Lawal Martins Oluwatope, and made available to newsmen in Lokoja, commended the governor and his deputy for their patriotic leadership functionality in moving the state forward in the second term.

”We heartily felicitate with our dear young youthful pragmatic governor of our time and his deputy; warmly greeting from CISCANEN for their support for the NGOs in Kogi state.

“The CISCANEN in Kogi urges the governor for more synergy and support to NGOs in the second term of this administration especially for CISCANEN, to establish more cancer sensitization programmes to improve health care delivery in the state,” he said.

The organisaton also lauded the effort of the Governor in reappointing Dr Saka Haruna as the Commissioner for Health in the era of consolidation and good legacy to achieve more in health sector for the state.

He described Gov. Bello as a real democrat whose patriotism had shown in health sector by given the state potential health practitioners who have been a helping hand to CISCANEN, such as Dr.Ahmed Attah, the CMD Specialist Hospital Lokoja and Hajia Abu Ali SSA,to the Governor on Health Matters.

He also appreciated Pastor Mrs. Roseline Alabi, the North Central Coordinator of CISCANEN, for her commitment to the organization and for performing excellently.

He called for more partnership and support to CISCANEN in Kogi State to eradicate and eliminate the deadly disease among citizens in the state.

The organization further seek the support of Gov. Bello in appointing more prodigy and protege men and women, who are full of humanitarian capacity to deliver the state from all kind diseases.

He thanked the governor for given a partnership model to ministry of health to establish programmes in support of CISCANEN like many other that happened in other state in Nigeria.

”CISCANEN expresses its confidence in the second term of the governor and his deputy for the express support that will be given to the NGOs to make channel of more project of legacy in health matter.

He commended Onoja for paying medical bills of some patients, and extolled Dr. Ahmed Attah as well as the Administrator of Yagba West, Hon. Timi Joseph, for their several humanitarian financial supportย  respectively.

He called for patriotic peace and tranquillity that would embrace human capital development in Kogi State, while expressing total confidence that legacy work would be done to health sector especially NGOs, and for Kogi CISCANEN to have more development than any other state.

He prayed that the Almighty God would strengthen the governor and his deputy for more capacity to achieving good governance in Kogi State.
