As Nigerians are recovering from last Saturdays postponement shock, the Kogi Central Senatorial APC flag bearer, Dr. Oseni Yakabu has called on all party faithful and his supporters to remain calm, resolute and focused in their preparations for the forth coming election slated for February 23, 2019.
He told journalists in Lokoja over the weekend that he was optimistic of a good outing in the forth coming election, stressing that the electoral umpire INEC only postponed his opponents defeats till the rescheduled date.
According to him he was fully ready for a resounding victory before INEC announced a postponement in the early hours of last Saturday.
Dr. Oseni however told his supporters to continue to repose their confidence in INEC, pointing out that the electoral body deserves our support and trust in the rescheduled election.
He therefore called on his supporters to go to the drawing board and re-strategize for a convincing and credible outing on Saturday.
In conclusion, Dr. Oseni called all stake holders in Kogi central to lead by example in order to avoid playing into the hands of his opponents no matter the level of their provocation now that they are sure that his victory is a matter of time.
