Kogi Born Afropop Singer Vows to Take Over Nigerian Music Market One Day

Kogi born Afropop singer and song writer, Isah Usman, popularly known as ‘Simple Boy’, has said that he will take over the Nigerian music market shortly.

In an interview with this reporter, the Kogi born singer said that he would drop another album in a few days.

Kilamiti singer was given birth to in the Confluence city, Lokoja and hails from Ankpa, Kogi State, Nigeria. He grew up in Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, and was recently signed to Momi Entertainment Record label.

The talented musician who spoke about his musical career disclosed that he grew up listening to the music icon such Davido, Chris Brown and Wizkid and started miming to their vibes at an early age.

He went further to disclose that society influenced his choice of pursuing a career in music.

Prior to his signing with Momi Entertainment, as announced by the music outfit, the versatile Nigerian language advocate and talent manager, Godstime OJ was named as his manager during a press briefing recently.

The make sense singer promised to release a new album titled “MAMA” but he was not specific about the date. 

He said “there’s a lot of competition in the Nigeria Music industry, but I promise to dominate Nigeria music industry one day because my song is among is the top five music chart on Rythm FM, Sound City, Max F.M, and no day passes by without my song being played so, I think am doing well.”

Simple Boy, who released his fine playlist last year had initially set a March release date for his  project, but the rapper says he had to push back the date to accommodate the release of the new hits, which were all produced by him.
