An indigene of Kogi State, the General Overseer of the G20 Peace Ambassadors for Youth Empowerment (GPAYE), Comrade Adeku Busari Ojo has just made history with First Class Honour Degree in University of Jos, Petrochemical Engineering Department.

Petrochemical Engineering is a department under the Faculty of Natural Sciences in University of Jos. The department which has being in existence for some decades has never produced any student with a First Class Degree but mostly with Second Class Lowers and a few Second Class Upper Degrees.

Mr. Adeku Busari Ojo, famously called Senator Adeku Ojo, was born and brought up in Okene Local Government Area of Kogi State. Mr. Adeku Ojo began his tertiary academic expedition from Remedial Sciences, University of Jos where he made outstanding grades of 5A’s (Five Distinctions) in all the five courses offered.

Mr. Adeku Ojo has participated overwhelmingly in Schools Associations like National Association of Ebira Students (NAES) where he acted as two times Secretary General, Acted as a strong Stakeholder to Students Union Government (SUG), and National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS) where he acted as President. It is an amazing thing to know that Mr. Adeku Ojo still came out with outstanding result with his dreams despite his involvement in the aforementioned groups.

How uniquely created is Senator Adeku? It may interest us to know that his success today is a fulfillment of his promise in the past few years where he said I shall put effort to make a First Class in my course of study, and that shall be dedicated to my late father.   Senator Adeku who can be described as being small-statured celebrity had proven that, it’s not by stature, neither is it by Age.

Adeku Ojo will many times whisper to my ear and say “Ohinoyi, I Want to make First Class” and I will smile and say surely I can see it All Over you – Prayer. I thank God that the moment has finally comes for which I was anxiously waiting for to happen in your life. You have finally done it, congratulations on your brilliant success. Indeed, it is the result of your hard work and zeal.

You deserve to have it. I cannot explain my feelings in words but a sensation of rapid inundation of my serotonin. My heart is filled with so much happiness and joy that there are no other emotions in it today, the only thing circumnavigating is your success and achievement. Make your move forward toward the professional life in the same fashion with the same enthusiasm and hard work. I wish you better future and best professional life. Ameen.
