The Kogi APC Youth Network (KAYN) has condemned the allegation of anti-party activities levied against Governor Yahaya Bello by some leaders of the party in the state.
The publicity secretary of KAYN, Comrade Danfulani Lukman, made this known to newsmen in Lokoja today.
KAYN asserted that the youth in Kogi state are united, and they are in support of the administration of the state Governor, Yahaya Bello.
According to Danfulani, “as a party, the Kogi State APC should stand united behind governor Yahaya Adoza Bello, in delivering service for our people. Our party was elected to lead change and bring development, not to pander to the ego of people.
It will be recalled that Senator Dino Melaye led state executive members of the party and other key leaders to APC National secretariat alleging that the governor has been working at cross purposes with the party.
But the group, in response to the allegations stated that the APC Kogi State cannot be factionalised.
“We the youth of APC Kogi State chapter will not tolerate indiscipline. We have given the party executive enough time to adjust to the reality that they are not in a position to hold the party or the process of change to ransom just because of their personal interests.
“Those who think that nothing can be right if they are not the drivers and condemn laudable initiatives just because they are not treated as masters should reconsider their conduct.”
“Some people lost their bid to occupy the office of senate; others were soundly defeated in the gubernatorial primaries. Despite this, the governor tried to carry them along. But they stood aloof, some even went as far as
cooperating with the PDP.
“We heard that a group of persons sat with PDP to cause problem in the state assembly. They are hereby warned to desist their evil acts else they will see the wrath of the youth.”
