Kogi @31: Okun Students Restate Commitment to Kogi Project

The President, National Association of Okun Students (NAOS), Comrade Adeyemi Babarinde Sunday, has enjoined Kogites to give their maximum support to the state government in order to combat calamities bedeviling Kogi state as they mark the state 31 years anniversary.

The president, in a statement issued on Saturday, said Kogites must unite to support the government to get more services run for the betterment and welfare of the state and her people. 

 The press statement read in part;

“I, on behalf of Okun students under the aegis of National Association of Okun Students (NAOS National), rejoice with the government and people of Kogi State, specifically His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello, as we celebrate yet another day in the annals of our history as a state.

“I want to restate the commitment of Okunland to the Kogi State project, while urging well meaning Kogites to give their maximum support to the state government in order to get more services run for the betterment of the state and welfare of her people. We will continue to live together as a people, irrespective of our ethnic differences and challenges ahead as we strongly believe there’s unity and progress in our diversity.

‘Thirty one happy cheers to Kogi State.”
