The leadership of Amalgamated Forum of Kogi State Patriots has assured Alhaji Jibrin Momoh of its absolute support if he considers seeking the governorship seat at the Lugard House on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Forum also promised to purchase nomination form and expression of interest for the cerebrum accountant.
Speaking on behalf of the Forum in Abuja on Monday, the Coordinator, Hon. Ebije Ugbede Paul said that, the qualitative leadership styles and administrative sagacity of Alhaji Jibrin make him a good successor of the incumbent governor.
Honourable Ebije, a former Commissioner For Culture and Tourism in the state, described the Forum as a confluence of competent people of like minds with huge grassroot networks.
He said the state must transcend beyond the emblem of region, religion and ethnicity in consideration for a successful leadership enthronement.
“This is a unique forum. It has no zonal or tribal coloration. Our members are credible people from the three senatorial districts within the Confluence State. This is a confluence of like minds. His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, our digital and performing governor has done well and there is a need for a credible successor that will project his achievements to another level. We are here for the betterment of Kogi state. We are here for our people,” Hon. Ebije said.
“We are calling on Alhaji Jibrin Momoh to come forth and listen to the plea and yearning of our people. We want him to come out and join the governorship race. Our party needs him. Our people need him. Our land needs his breed of personality. Even if it amounts to getting him the form, we are ready to do that,” he added.
Eulogizing the leadership prowess of Alhaji Jibrin as the Chief Supretendent of the state’s Treasury following his present tasks under the able leadership of governor Bello, Hon Ebije said that, “This is the man who manages the state’s meager resources with sound prudence culminating to huge achievements in Infrastructure, human capital development, payment of salaries among others “
Hon. Ebije who shed more lights on the membership of the forum, ascribed that, the forum was peopled by numerous political stakeholders in Kogi state.
“The forum Is made up of credible politicians such as serving and former senators, serving and former House of Representatives, serving and former Commissioners, former and serving state lawmakers, former Heads of Service, former Senior Special Assistant to governors, former Local Governments Chairmen and other noble political actors across the three senatorial districts of the state with the cardinal objective of rooting and supporting the candidature of Alhaji Jibrin Momoh for the 2023 governorship election,” he said.
Hon. Ebije added that, “We are patriotic individuals. We are out because of the love we have for the land. Our mission is not for self aggrandizement. We need a Kogi state that is viable, prosperous and secured just as we have under the leadership of his Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello. We need someone with sound administrative prowess and strategic strength who could trail the same leadership trajectory to succeed him. And in our candid opinion, the only man that possess those qualities is Alhaji Jibrin Momoh”
Alhaji Jibrin Momoh is a distinguished, successful accountant and a strategic administrator with result oriented leadership models.
