Sunday Karimi, member representing Yagba Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has called on Governor Yahaya Bello to put his belongings in order as electoral defeat awaits him in 2019.

Karimi made this call at the Kogi West Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders meeting in Koton Karfe.

He described Governor Bello’s administration as inhuman and wicked. He stressed that the suffering masses and those Bello has inflicted with poverty are set to vote him out of office in 2019.

“Never has suffering reduced the people of Kogi state to beggars. The suffering as is currently been witnessed in the state calls for worries as people are dying on a daily basis owing to pain inflicted on them by the present government.
“While the Governor and his associates are busy buying properties across the country, several people are dying of hunger. The present administration should start packing its loads out of government house as it has lost the confidence of the citizens of the state”, he said.
Karimi lamented a situation where workers are not paid their salaries, pensioners are owed several months of pension, the living standard of the citizens in the state nosediving.
He assured that PDP will take over Kogi state in 2019.
Barr. Kola Ojo, the Vice Chairman of PDP West Senatorial District, said the meeting was geared towards intimating members of the party on development in the state and on the need to reunite for victory ahead of 2019 general elections. He described the leadership of Gov. Bello as lacking the needed bite and purpose.
The meeting which held at the residence of former Secretary to Kogi State Government (SSG), Alhaji Musa Ahmadu had in attendance former SSG, Hon. Shola Ojo, Hon. Tajudeen Yusuf, Chief Aboidun Ojo and other leaders from the seven local governments in the district.
