Kilani Olumo Dedicates Tribunal Victory to God, Ijumu People

Member representing Ijumu State Constituency at the Kogi State House of Assembly and House Committee Chairman on Education, Science and Technology, Hon Kilani Olumo has dedicated his victory at the Election Petition Tribunal to God and the people of his constituency.

The international ICT expert turned politician disclosed this to Journalists in Kabba while reacting to the judgment delivered in his favour affirming his election as the dully elected member of the Kogi State House of Assembly.

According to him, he praised God who spear his life to have witnessed this day to celebrate the goodness of God in his life.

He said he hold his allegiance to the people of Ijumu who go all out to elect him as their representative at the state level, promising not to let them down in providing qualitative representation.

He also used the opportunity to appreciate Governor Yahaya Bello for his unalloyed support and assistant that enable him to coast to victory at the poll.

According to him, the APC family in Ijumu will leverage on the victory to woo more supports for the party ahead of November 16 Governorship Election in the state to vote enmass for Governor Yahaya Bello’s second term in office.

He specially recognized the giant efforts of the Council Administrator who doubles as the ALGON Chairman in Kogi State, Hon. (Dr.) Isah Taofiq who from onset identified with his ambition and gave him all the support and assistant he needed to succeed which translated to the victory recorded today.

He said the efforts of Alhaji Isah Taofiq in the overall success of his ambition cannot be quantify considering his monumental contributions before, during and post election period.

Hon Kilani said that the jubilation that trail his tribunal victory confirmed the popularity of All Progressive Congress APC in the constituency, urging the opposition to close rank for the development of the area.

He appealed to the opposition parties to spear their sword and support him to move the area to another level of development, noting that it does not worth it to continue to waste resources meant for the development of the area on litigation.

He called on Ijumu people to continue to have faith in APC and vote the party come November 16, as it remain the only platform that will guarantee real development for the state.
