Stakeholders from polling units, ward executive committees, and the 23 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Kaduna State have resolved to step up grassroots mobilization to deliver a decisive victory for the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) and its presidential ticket of Engr. Seyi Makinde and Lawan Daura in the January 16, 2027 presidential election.
The party faithful reached the agreement during an expansive strategic review meeting convened in Barnawa, Kaduna, North West Nigeria, under the auspices of the Kaduna Grassroots Community and Engagement Mobilisation Drive.
Addressing attendees in his opening remarks, co-convener of the group, Hon. Danladi Boyis Hassan, underscored the primary objective of the gathering as providing Nigerians with a viable alternative in 2027. He described the Makinde/Daura ticket as the most qualified and credible team capable of rescuing the country from total collapse, urging citizens across the federation to place their trust in the APM standard-bearers.

Aligning with Hassan’s position, co-convener Hon. Tachio John called on voters to seize the 2027 electoral cycle to correct past political missteps. He specifically charged stakeholders to intensify grassroots door-to-door campaigns in support of the Director-General of the APM National Campaign Council, Hon. Felix Hassan Hyat, who doubles as a prominent leader from the state.
Pledges of unwavering support were delivered across key demographic divisions of the campaign drive. Speaking on behalf of the women’s wing, Mrs. Judith Yusuf assured the leadership that women across Kaduna State have embraced the Makinde/Daura platform and would turn out en masse to cast their votes on election day.
Representing the men’s wing, Mr. Augustine Kazah stated that field teams are working around the clock across all wards and LGAs, expressing confidence that Kaduna State will be delivered to the APM. Speaking for the youth segment, Mr. Nehemiah Tene reaffirmed that young voters remain resolute and will not relent in expanding party acceptance until ultimate victory is secured.
The Director-General of the APM National Campaign Council and former Minister of State for Aviation, Hon. Felix Hassan Hyat, made a brief appearance at the event. Hyat commended the stakeholders for their dedication and grassroots initiative, assuring them that their resolutions and grassroots structures would be formally presented to the presidential candidate, Engr. Seyi Makinde.
The conveners and state coordinators—including Hon. Hassan Boyis, Hon. Tachio John, Dr. Sarki Babangida Rijana, and Hon. Stephen Hassan Hyat—expressed optimism over the overwhelming turnout of local leaders and the positive feedback recorded across the state ahead of the forthcoming polls.
