Member representing Kabba/Bunu State Constituency and Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Matthew Kolawole has commended Governor Yahaya Bello on the prompt release of funds for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of Kabba township roads.
In a statement issued by his chief press secretary in Lokoja on Friday, Kolawole said Governor Yahaya Bello has continued to display to his critics that he truly loves the people of the state, especially Kabba-Bunu, stressing that when the project is completed it will go a long way to boost the social economic status of the community.
The Speaker said the projects could not have commenced at a better time than now that the people of the area are yearning for the upgrading of the road infrastructures in the metropolis.
He urged the people to continue to give their support and cooperation to the new direction administration in its efforts to move the entire state forward.
He charged the contractor to do the job according to the term and conditions specified in the contractual agreement, promising to give a close watch on the execution of the job.
He promised to continue to work with relevant stakeholders to facilitate more people oriented projects to the constituency, noting that the Iluke-Olle-Kabba and Iyah-Egbe-Obele road which has been flagged last year will also be attended to as soon as possible.
