It is no longer news that Comrade Johnson Musa has his eyes on the Dekina/Bassa House of Representatives seat.
To prove that he means business, he has picked and submitted his intent form at the Kogi State secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lokoja.
Johnson Musa has consulted widely within the PDP members, stakeholders and party delegates and their response to his intention is a positive one.
I admire Comrade Johnson guts. He is vibrant, articulate, courageous and intelligent. In Nigeria, supporting a young aspirant like Comrade Johnson Musa is becoming imperative considering the situation of the country and the fact that future of young people is being decided by people other than those that will be affected by the decision.
The question about the rightful owner of the breasts could be answered unarguably by a faithful elder. You can’t plant a yam and expect to harvest Coco-yam. It is only the foolish grandmother that will give an inquisitive son a bone of cow to plant deceiving him that it will germinate to be a full cow. If you know, you know.
Many aspirants are vying for this ticket in PDP. Some don’t even know how the party as been breathing or surviving all this while, they don’t know the efforts made at making the party to be in existence but all they want is ticket, even if they know that they are now new in the party.
Let me narrow it down; PDP came into power in 1999 and there are several personalities that have spent their time and fortune to making sure that the manifesto and dreams of the founding Fathers is kept alive while the unfaithful ones defected to the ruling party because of greed and selfish personal interest.
Comrade Johnson Musa is a young man who has the prerequisite qualification to keep this dream alive. He is PDP and PDP is him. Having served and hold different positions in PDP, I think it’s time for him to reap from his labour.
At different capacity, he served as Ibro 2003 campus coordinator, pioneer coordinator, PDP Youth Frontier,
member of all Kogi State PDP Gubernatorial elections, etc. His ‘New Voice Agenda’ seems to have place him other aspirants.
Therefore, the party delegates should deem it fit to reward him with such position because all the odds and affinity are glaringly for him.
With Comrade Johnson Musa, Dekina/Bassa is in safe hands!
