Sen. Abubakar Ohere today joined the global community in celebrating International Women’s Day 2025.

He stated that Kogi state under former governor Yahaya Bello has set a better precedent to which the present administration under Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo is sustaining and has continue to implement policies and programs that promote gender rights, education, and economic empowerment in which the ultimate goal is to create equal opportunities for all, irrespective of gender, enabling every woman to contribute to the growth and prosperity of the state and nation.
Sen. Ohere calls upon the people of Kogi State and beyond to salute the women who have broken barriers, inspired generations, and made the world a brighter place.
