It Is Time: For Truth, Justice, and the Revival of a Nation’s Conscience

It is time for silence to end. It is time for lies to fall. It is time for truth to rise like the sun over a darkened land. For too long, deception has governed the corridors of power. Too long, injustice has paralyzed the conscience of the people. Too long, the cries of the vulnerable have been muffled under the weight of human ambition and greed. The Holy Bible declares, “He who walks in integrity walks securely, but he who perverts his ways will be found out” (Proverbs 10:9, NIV). The exposure of truth is inevitable, for the hand of God cannot be stayed.

From the heart of the nation, ordinary citizens whisper prayers of hope even as they witness betrayal and moral decay. Their suffering is not unnoticed. As Pastor Chris Oyakhilome reminds us, “God is never late; He is always on time. The delays we perceive are divine opportunities for His glory to manifest.” The blood of past mistakes, the ripples of systemic corruption, and the apathy of leaders cannot silence the call of justice that Heaven has ordained.

It is time for leaders to remember that authority is a sacred trust, not a personal inheritance. It is time for the elite to acknowledge that power without righteousness is a trap; influence without integrity is a curse. A Great Man of God once said, “When men forget God, the land mourns, and the people suffer in silence. True leadership is submission to the divine law.” Leadership in any society is measured not by wealth or titles but by the courage to uphold what is right, to defend the weak, and to speak truth even when it is inconvenient.

The nation cannot thrive on policies alone; it needs a moral awakening. Isaiah 1:17 exhorts us: “Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow’s cause.” Injustice festers in darkness. Healing begins when the righteous rise and choose action over comfort, courage over conformity. The Church, the marketplace, the schools, and the homes. In fact, all must become arenas of accountability, integrity, and prayerful intervention.

It is time for every citizen to reclaim their voice, their responsibility, and their conscience. As Juanita Bynum asserts, “We cannot pray alone in the shadows while the world burns; prayer without action is silent rebellion against God’s call.” The revival we seek; social, spiritual, and political; demands vigilance, discernment, and relentless pursuit of God’s principles.

It is time to remember that no power is greater than that of the Almighty. No human strategy can outmaneuver divine justice. Psalm 33:12 reminds us: “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage.” To walk in righteousness, speak truth without compromise, and demand justice without fear is not just civic duty; it is divine mandate.

It is time, for leaders to lead with God’s wisdom. It is time for citizens to act with Godly courage. It is time for a nation to awaken to its conscience and rise from complacency. As TB Joshua once preached, “When a nation turns back to God, chains break, oppression ends, and hope rises like never before.” The hour is now. Delay is luxury the suffering cannot afford. The cries of the oppressed are the trumpets of Heaven, calling a nation to accountability, integrity, and revival.

It is time. And if we answer this call, our children, our communities, and our nation will no longer merely survive, they will flourish under the hand of the Almighty.
