INEC Reshedules Bye-elections in Kogi

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said it was moving the date for the conduct of supplementary Federal and State Constituency elections forward from May 2nd to April 25th.

The INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner for Kogi State in a release on Thursday in Lokoja said the decision was based on a policy statement that all elections be concluded 30 days before the handing over date.

The release which was signed by Adison Mailafiya on behalf of the REC, Prof. Jacob Jatau said supplementary Federal and State Constituency Elections earlier scheduled for 2nd May, 2015 have been rescheduled for Saturday 25th April, 2015 in affected polling units.

    for the past 20years we have been looking for a good leader but not a leather. some one that has interest of his people at heart no matter were u comes from not some one who is been blinded by greed. how in God name can a whole state that has 21 L.G.A will be banking with just 2 Banks if not for selfish reason. my brothers and sisters in KOGI STATE let’s stop this crazy act. because we dnt no wat may happen next. maybe next the governor will ask us to be buying all our food stuff from one supermarket. G.Y.B the good people of Kogi loves u pls don’t disappoint us. this is not how to fight CORRUPTION. bcuz u can’t give some one commissional for pilgrimage why he is a rascal. pls continue ur good work u are here to save u people.
