The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the Bassa-Dekina House of Representatives election inconclusive.
Election, particularly in Anyigba, were characterized by ballot snatching and large scale violence.
A 19-year old student of Kogi State University, Anyigba, Daniel Usman was murdered at Ajetacho polling unit.
Elections in Ogbabede and Iyale wards have been canceled. Also, polling units in Egume, Ojikpalada, Odu ward 1, Odu ward 2, Oganenigu, Okura, Dekina and Abocho wards were cancelled as well.
Voters await INEC for a new date for supplementary election in the affected polling units.
