The National Orientation Agency (NOA), Kogi State Directorate, has urged all Nigerians to celebrate the country’s 65th Independence Anniversary with a sense of unity, collaboration, and patriotism.

The State Director, Mr Patrick Edogbanya, in a statement on Wednesday in Lokoja, emphasized the importance of reflecting on the commitments of the founding fathers and the country’s journey through time to becoming a great nation.

Edogbanya stressed that the NOA is proud to champion the National Value Charter, a framework for cultivating national pride and fostering responsible citizenship.

He urged all citizens to celebrate the day responsibly and peacefully, calling on everyone to use this occasion to forgive one another, strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, and shun all forms of divisive tendencies.

The NOA Director also called on citizens to recommit to the virtues of hard work, integrity, and national development.

He wished every Nigerian and Kogi people a peaceful celebration, praying for God’s blessings on the state and the country.

The statement is a call to action for Nigerians to come together and celebrate their diversity, while promoting unity and patriotism.

As the country marks its 65th Independence Anniversary, the NOA’s message serves as a reminder of the importance of working together towards a brighter future for all Nigerians.
