Imo Gov’s ADC, Abdul Mumin, Commiserate With Residents of Kogi Community Over Terror Attack

Aide-de-Camp to Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, Ahmed Abdul Mumin, has reached out to residents of Agojeju Odo community in Omala local government area of Kogi state over the recent attack by terrorists.

In a statement issued on Friday, Abdul Mumin condemned the attack and offered to support efforts aimed at apprehending the arsonists.

“In the wake of the recent devastating events in Omala, Kogi State, our hearts go out to the resilient residents grappling with the aftermath of a senseless and brutal attack. As fellow Nigerians, we stand in solidarity with the community of Omala during this period of profound sorrow and mourning.

“The tragic loss of nineteen innocent lives and the injuries inflicted upon countless others have left us all shaken and grieving. Words cannot adequately convey the depth of our sympathy for the families shattered by this senseless violence, nor the pain felt by the community as a whole.

“As a native of Kogi State, I share in your sorrow and condemn in the strongest terms such reprehensible acts of violence. These trying times test the strength and resilience of our community, yet I am confident that the people of Omala will emerge from this ordeal with unwavering resolve and unity.

“My family and I extend our unwavering support to you during this difficult period. We are committed to working closely with the relevant authorities to ensure that those responsible for this cowardly act are swiftly brought to justice.

“In the midst of this darkness, may you find comfort in the outpouring of love and solidarity from your fellow Nigerians. Let the memories of your loved ones serve as guiding lights, inspiring hope for a brighter future ahead. Our thoughts and prayers are with you,” he said.

Abdul Mumin gave assurances of his readiness to provide any assistance the victims may need as they navigate through this challenging time.
